What Poker Game Manager is

Poker Game Manager is a record-keeping tool. It does not handle, process, hold or facilitate any payment or gambling transaction, it does not offer any game of chance for money, and it takes no stake or commission. Money is settled directly between players, away from this app, exactly as it would be without it.

Think of it as a shared notebook. You and your friends decide what to play and what it is worth; the app keeps count so that nobody has to do arithmetic at one in the morning, and so that the answer at the end is one everybody can see. It has no view on what you play, and it is not a party to any agreement between you.

Your responsibility for what you play

Whether a game of poker for money is lawful where you are is your responsibility, not the operator’s. Home games are legal in some places, restricted in others, and prohibited in a few. You must satisfy yourself that what you are doing is permitted before you use this application to record it, and you must be 18 or over — which you confirm when you sign up. An account created by someone under 18 may be closed.

Debts are between players

The settlement Poker Game Manager works out is a suggestion of who could pay whom to square the table with a small number of transfers. It is arithmetic, not an obligation the operator creates, guarantees or enforces. Money moves between you and the other players directly, by whatever means you choose, entirely outside this application. If somebody does not pay, that is a matter between the two of you.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Use a name and username your friends will recognise and that are not offensive or somebody else’s, and give game and group names the same care. If you add a guest player by name, you should have their agreement to record it.

As a host you decide who is at your table. Invitations go to people you choose; an open lobby link lets anyone who has it join your game while it is open, so share it only with people you want to play with, and revoke it if it reaches the wrong person.

Free hosting allowance and referral experiment

You receive five free hosting games each calendar month (UTC). Unused monthly games do not carry over. Joining other people’s games and logging solo sessions are unlimited and do not use this allowance. Your running games, settlements and records remain accessible when your hosting allowance reaches zero.

One game is used when a lobby opens, from the account that originally created the game or its scheduled lobby. Changing hosts does not move, refund or repeat that charge. Creating or cancelling a schedule without opening a game, and reopening the same game, do not use another hosting game. Monthly games are used before bonus games.

A qualifying new account using your referral invitation receives five bonus hosting games after email verification; you receive ten. Each new account can qualify once, within seven days of signup. Self-referrals, existing accounts and repeat signups using a previously recorded email do not qualify. Each referring account can earn rewards for up to 20 qualifying referrals in this experiment. Bonus games do not expire and have no cash value; they are not payments or transferable money. There is no paid hosting package or card requirement.

This is an experiment, not a promise of permanent availability or a free-forever service. Material changes will be explained in the app. Contact the operator if an allowance or referral decision appears incorrect.

Fair use

Use Poker Game Manager for its purpose: recording games you actually play. Do not use it to harass anyone, to impersonate someone, or to record things that are not yours to record. Do not create accounts or send requests automatically, get round the security checks (such as the “verify you are human” check), probe the service for weaknesses, or try to reach data that is not yours. If you find a security problem, please report it to the contact address instead.

Accuracy

The app records what people type into it. It checks its own arithmetic carefully: money is counted in whole cents, and every settlement is checked to see whether the amounts balance. When the chips counted at the end do not match the chips bought in, it says so — the difference is shown rather than quietly rounded away — and it is shared equally among the players with a result, so the evening can still be settled. A table rake the host records is treated as money taken out of the game: it is never paid to the host or to any player. What the app cannot check is whether the numbers somebody entered — a buy-in, a chip count, a tournament payout — are the ones that were true at the table. Look at the numbers before you settle up.

Availability

Poker Game Manager is provided as it is, without any promise that it will be available when you want it or free of faults. It may change, and it may stop. If it is going to stop for good, reasonable notice will be given so that you can take a copy of your records.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses arising from your use of Poker Game Manager — including money lost at cards, a debt someone does not pay, or a figure entered incorrectly. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Ending it

You can stop using the application whenever you like, and you can delete your account yourself at any time from your profile page (or ask at the contact address). If you still host a game with no other registered participant, that game and its guest records are also deleted. Active games involving another account are transferred to a registered participant when possible; otherwise account deletion is refused until you settle or hand off the game. The privacy page explains what happens to your data, including the one thing that cannot simply be erased. The operator may suspend an account that is being used to abuse other people or the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. Disputes may be brought before a competent Dutch court. If mandatory consumer law gives you protection or a right to bring proceedings somewhere else, these terms do not take that protection or right away.

Changes to these terms

Material changes will be announced in the application before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means the revised terms apply from then on. A change never removes rights that mandatory law gives you.
